Happy

Right now I feel so happy. I just feel so lucky.

I am very blessed to have amazing people around me.

Even when I was down, I had great friends/family who supported me every second.

The things I went through, I am glad it's all over and made it through.

I didn't let it get to me, well it almost did but I stayed strong.

Everyone goes through these times, just in different ways or sometimes the exactly the same...

So you're NOT alone :)!

Just move on, be strong and help other people who go through the same thing.

I love makeup and going shopping but I also LOVE cars and doing mixed martial arts! I think I've always been a little bit of a tom boy I guess.

When we lived back in Japan, there was a time when we had a special celebration and had to dress up in the traditional Japanese kimonos for a photo shoot. I was about 3 or 4 years old. My parents made me wear this bright red kimono with a Japanese detailing. ( I look at the photo now and it's so pretty! ) They also put this BIG flower thing in my hair with clipped on! I still remember it.. that hair piece hurt sooo much!! This big flower just clipped on a little bit of my hair and it killed! lol! I got so frustrated, I started crying and just starting to take EVERYTHING OFF. My parents were like "Mari, the photoshoot is very soon just keep it on for ONE photo and you can take it off." So I just waited and as soon as the photoshoot was over, I just stripped and took everything off! lol!

There was also a time when I absolutely HATED frilly stuff. Example: Table clothes with frills on the end, frilly skirt, ribbons etc.....
I have an older sister and she was a girly girl. Everything she wore was pretty much frilly skirts and cute girly clothes and pretty much all her clothes got passed down to me and I just cut them lol!! Apparently she got really upset because I cut her favourite skirt!

So anyways, I've always been a tom boy I guess..

But now that I'm older, I do like some frilly stuff.. and I love the Japanese kimonos, I think they are so beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!

Day off!

YAYYY! I finally had the day off from work/college today! :)

So today, I went shopping and bought a cute dress from Venus & Apollon! Now I'm just waiting for tonight because I have my mix martial arts training!! So excited!!

I've done alot of sports and I personally think MMA is the best! It get's me so excited and I always can't wait until the next training! It also helps me release bad energy by punching and kicking... ahah.

Last night I had the dumbest moments... here's what happened.

1.

Me: How many years for Olympics?

Aaron: Well, the last one was Beijing 2008...

Me: Okay sooo.. (in my head: 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012) ... 4 YEARS! WOWW It's gone so fast!!!

Aaron: (no comment, looks at me)

Aaron: Wait, so 2008 how many years?

Me: (uses fingers) so.. 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012... wait.. :| ohhhhHHhhHhhhh HA ha haaaa

Aaron: ...........



2. (Went to KFC drive thru)

Guy at Window: Okay so you wanted (meal) and that comes to $$$...

Me: Okay, thanks!!!!! (Drives to next window without paying)

Me: (Stops at 2nd window) Waitt... was I meant to pay at that window!?

Aaron: Yes............

Me: Ohhhhhhhh..... What should I do!?

(Guy comes to the 2nd window laughing)

Me: Can I pay eftpos here!?

Guy: No, sorry only cash lol (I had to drive out and around again to the 1st window to pay)

Aaron: Sorry shes Asian!!

Guy: LOL and shakes his head..

Me: lol awwwww shuutt uppp!

Everyday is a new day.

I am not as happy lately. I try to be but sometimes I just can't fake it.

But I don't want to live like this, even if I am feeling upset or sad, I will try my best to live happy and think positive! Because all in all, we move on, everyday is a new day. Why waste our precious life for something we will regret in the future.

I want to be happy and smile and make other people happy.

So much to say...

Sorry it's been ages!

Things I am doing right now:

- Working
- Beauty Therapy College
- Mixed Martial Arts

Thats pretty much my life right now haha.. :)

So much has happened in the past few months, I was pretty depressed for awhile but I have made it through and stayed strong and I am SO happy right now! Lets just say that being cheated on isnt the best feeling... :(

So to anyone out there who is feeling depressed/sad/alone.. just ALWAYS stay strong! I also always think about all the people around the world, there are many people who go through harder and tougher things than we do so I just feel very lucky and I try not to be selfish and just stay strong. In another person's eye out in the world, we have it all... we just dont realize it or even forget about it..

I also learnt that whatever will be will be... :)

I thought it wont.. but for me right now, everything has fallen back into place ..

I am going to Japan for a week in September to see my brother! It's going to be so much fun I can't wait!! I haven't been back in 5 years so its so exciting!!! >_<

At beauty college we did Spray Tanning! Its was pretty fun. I've never been spray tanned before by a tanning machine so it was pretty cool! It makes your body have a nice, even colour! The only bad thing is it only lasts around 7 days :(

My favourite mascara at the moment: Loreal Extra Volume Collagene Mascara! It is soo nice!! The brush is so big and gives alot of volume without making your lashes look clumpy and it also separates them too!!

Im back.

Hey everyone, it has been awhile since I posted and I am sorry.

The past few months have been quite interesting and I just didn't feel well to do much at all.

If you have read my older posts, you will know that I had a 4 year relationship with my high school boyfriend. Well, that ended a few months ago, I dont wanna talk about it too much but I am fine now! I am happy as I can be!!

So now I am going to start blogging again! ^_^!!!

Makes me smile

I stand there thinking to myself. Thinking of positive things and how I can learn to be a better person. Thinking what "love" is.

An elderly couple come up to me and I serve them. I check her signature and her husband makes a funny comment to me saying that "she stayed up all night practicing that.." We all laugh a little and I tell them "have a great day." They both walk out together and he holds her close and holds her hand like she is everything. :)

And for me (stranger) to just look and just know that they still really love each other and he just treats her so nicely making her laugh makes me smile.

I was just like awwwwwwww! It was the cutest thing!!!! Still so happy and you can tell they were still in-love with each other.

It made me smile and hope to be inlove as much as them.........

Whatever will be will be.....

Stay strong, think positive and if it's meant to be it will be.

How exciting.

Emily the Corpse Bride Inspired Eye Makeup

Okay, this is my attempt to do Emily's eye makeup. I not sure if I like it.. I think it could be alot darker but ohwell! I might do another one later on haha.




1. First apply any DARK NAVY BLUE colour on your eyelids. Emily's eyes are really big and round, so make sure you apply the eye shadow on your whole lid, making like a big semi circle.


2. After that, get an even darker NAVY/BLUE/BLACK colour and just draw an outline around your coloured area or just line your crease.


3. Also apply some shadow below your lower lashes. Now just smudge it out..


4. Apply a thick line of BLACK eyeliner using GEL/LIQUID/PENCIL on the top lid. Make sure that you create a 'round' look.


5. Now apply BLACK mascara on the top lashes! Apply at least two coats to make you lashes look really thick and kinda clumpy.


6. Now apply some eyeliner on the bottom lashes and coat with mascara! If you look on the picture, she has really thick lashes and they're all separated. So try and create that separated look.


7. Your done.

NOTE: The eyeshadow on the photos look really green.. but I used a dark navy blue colour. I think it might be my camera... :(
